Here are three unique places that might spice up your week in the Tampa Bay area!
Spookeasy Lounge
Spookeasy Lounge is a popular location in the Tampa area and was featured on an episode of Bar Rescue. This Kava bar is located in Ybor City, which is only a few miles from Camden Preserve.
Kava bars are alternative social outings where you can meet local people in your area. Their popularity is increasing by the minute! Spookeasy Lounge is a themed establishment with all your favorite horror movie franchises on display. This horrifying experience is like no other you will ever encounter in the area. Grab a Kava-infused drink in heir main bar or take a detour downtstairs to the “Catacombs” to try some eerily delicious alcohol-infused drinks.
Spookeasy Lounge also holds fun activities daily!
Movie Monday, which plays some classic horror movie films.
On Tuesdays, they have boards & bones in the Catacombs.
Wednesday is Scary-oke, their karaoke version; I was fortunate enough to visit on this day and enjoy live performances with regulars!
On Thursdays and Fridays, they start their SpookEasy tours, which explore Ybor's historic district, and their metalcore, EMO, and punk music nights.
Saturdays are their Moonlight cemetery ghost tour, perfect if you want to have some late thrills!
Sunday is their Devil's Den Drag show, where you watch live lip-sync battles featuring some of Tampa Bay's famous drag queens.

Lost & Found
If you're looking for a groovy time and want to jump back in time to the 70s, you must check out Lost & Found. This cozy retro bar sets you back to the decade, where you can enjoy cocktails and a food truck in the backyard.
Dance your way through a 70's themed home with a large dance floor playing music from this popular decade. I hope you have your dancing boots on, where they have a large living room to bust a move! This fun bar is located on the same road as Camden Central, which is within right in the heart of downtown St. Pete.
Monday, an event called "In The Biz," where they offer $7 specialty cocktails & Boilermakers.
Tuesday nights are their Variety Night, where there is music, bingo, trivia, video, and board games!
Thursday nights are Disco and Divas playing music from the disco era with $7 on all specialty cocktails.
Sundays is "SOS," which stands for Spritz on Sunday.

Dirty Laundry
Dirty Laundry is one of my favorite hidden gems in downtown St. Pete, Which is right down the street from Camden Central and Camden Pier District. Dirty Laundry is a speakeasy where it looks like a vintage-style laundry mat. Little do people know this exciting location is a spacious bar hiding behind one of the washing machines!
Just like any other speakeasy, the entrance is hidden in plain sight. Pick up the payphone to hear the code, punch the numerical passcode, and then push open one of the washing machines to enter a night you won't forget!
They have a full bar playing music from the early 2000s to today's hits. They offer more than just drinks, you can also enjoy their Cuban-inspired cuisine. My favorite menu item is the chili lime yuca fries.
This is a fun spot for the locals where you can kick back and enjoy an excellent indoor or outdoor cocktail surrounded by palm trees and fairy lights.
